Deemed to be the most untouched scenic region within the South Island, with its unique towns and friendly people, dense virgin rain forest. Experience a helicopter around Mt Cook and Mt. Since the scaling down of gold mining, coal mining and native sawn timber production tourism became the area's growth industry and is expanding tenfold. Each of West Coast towns that we visit have a number of scenic and historic attractions ranging from the replica 'Shanty' town of by-gone years, experience a picturesque river gorge walk, or a 'tree top walkway' amongst the high canopy of a New Zealand native rain forest.

A visit to the South Island of New Zealand without including the sights and hospitality of the West Coast would be incomplete.
